Free F1 points calculator
A full-distance 2026 Formula 1 grand prix pays 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, and 1 championship points to the top ten. A sprint pays 8 down to 1 for the top eight when the sprint counts. This free F1 points calculator applies that public scale, including shortened races, and also models Undercut’s private-league prediction scoring. Championship points and prediction points are different numbers. Undercut is an independent fan product, not an official results service, and prediction points are in-app only.
2026 F1 championship points
The drivers’ championship and the constructors’ championship use the same scale. A constructor’s points are the two cars added together. There is no fastest-lap bonus in 2026. No race points are awarded unless the leader has completed two laps without a Safety Car or Virtual Safety Car. The column then depends on how much of the scheduled distance that leader completed.

A sprint pays points only when the leader has completed two laps without a Safety Car or Virtual Safety Car and at least half of the scheduled sprint distance. Otherwise the sprint pays nothing. Ninth and lower score 0 from a sprint.

Championship points and prediction points
A race win is 25 championship points. The same call inside an Undercut league is scored a different way: exact finishing-position hits score 5 prediction points by default, and near misses still score. Use the championship table to read a result. Use the prediction table to see how a private league would score the picks.
This is not the Official F1 Fantasy team-budget calculator. Official F1 Fantasy is a different game. Undercut does not offer real-money wagering.

Frequently asked questions
How many points does an F1 race win score in 2026?
A full-distance win scores 25 championship points. If the leader completed less than 75% of the scheduled distance, the win pays 19, 13, or 6 points depending on the distance band. There is no fastest-lap bonus.
How many points is an F1 sprint win in 2026?
A sprint win scores 8 championship points when the sprint counts: the leader must complete two laps without a Safety Car or Virtual Safety Car and at least half the scheduled sprint distance. Eighth scores 1. Ninth and lower score 0.
What if the race is shortened?
Points follow the distance the leader completed. Two laps to under 25% pays the top five only (6, 4, 3, 2, 1). From 25% to under 50%, ninth scores 1 and tenth scores 0. From 50% upward, tenth scores 1. If the leader has not completed two laps without a Safety Car or Virtual Safety Car, the race pays nothing.
Does fastest lap still score a championship point?
No. The championship point for fastest lap was removed from the 2025 season onward. In 2026, championship points come from finishing position in the grand prix and, on sprint weekends, the sprint.
What is an F1 points calculator?
An F1 points calculator turns a finishing position into championship points, and can also turn race picks into a private-league prediction score. Undercut’s page does both. The 2026 championship scale and Undercut’s exact / near-miss prediction model are separate totals.
What is an F1 championship calculator?
It applies the 2026 drivers’ and constructors’ scale to a finishing position, including shortened races and sprints. It does not decide a season winner by itself. Add the result to the points a driver or team already has.
Is this an F1 points simulator?

What defaults does the prediction calculator use?
Exact position hits score 5, near misses decay by how many places off you are, misses of 4 or more score 1, and a correct fastest-lap pick adds 3. Bonus points are entered as resolved in-app totals. Leagues may override those defaults.
